Pricing questions
Do guests ever pay anything?
No. Guests view and upload free, always. Only the host pays.
Does the Event Pass renew or turn into a subscription?
No. It's a one-time $39 payment that activates one album. It never renews.
What happens when a free preview album expires?
Uploads close 14 days after the album is created. If OakDrop hosts test photos, we email you a removal notice after expiry and remove hosted test photos no sooner than 3 days after that notice. Activating with an Event Pass or membership before then keeps everything.
What does "bring your own storage" mean?
Members can connect their Dropbox or Google Drive. Guests' full-resolution originals are placed directly in the host's own connected account — your photos live in storage you control, with no OakDrop storage cap on them.
How do refunds work?
Your first Event Pass or membership purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days of the charge, no questions asked — email [email protected] from your account address. Renewals and later purchases are excluded except where law requires otherwise.
How long are photos kept?
Event Pass albums: uploads open 180 days, OakDrop-hosted photos retained 365 days after purchase. Member albums never expire while the membership is active, and photos in your connected Dropbox/Drive are yours permanently. The full schedule is in the Terms.
